Everyone involved agreed it was a breath of fresh air compared to the usual bland set of questions and glossy presentations. We really wanted to get to know the people who would be working on the project as it is the people who will be key to its success, not the name over the door. How did we do it? We went to the short listed architects’ offices, rolled up our sleeves and worked through some of the key issues of the project in their environment. We really did learn a lot about the people and the dynamic of their team.”
