Senate House: temporary teaching spaces project

During the academic summer holiday some of our J4 Projects team have been supporting the University of Bristol Capital Projects Office deliver a range of new teaching spaces and interim pop-ups.

The brief was to deliver a value for money project with over 500 teaching seats split across 15 rooms; a new Postgraduate training, resource and collaboration hub; relocation of the Study Centre; new Catering Cart and Information Point.

We were even able to reuse some furniture from previous spaces.

This was all successfully delivered to a highly challenging 10 week programme during the summer period. Our attention now turns back to the final scheme…

Architect Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios did the design for this project and local company Aztec Building Services was the contractor.
