University of Bath MBA Students project – meet the team

After our morning with the MBA team, exchanging background information and enjoying some though provoking exercises to assess where we are and where we would like to be, we are delighted to introduce the team as follows.

Tue has 5 years’ experience in the audit field which has been one as Audit Assistant at Deloitte Thailand and the remaining 4 as Internal Auditor in the Thailand power producer company called EGCO.

Toon’s background is in auditing and accounting. She used to work for PwC Thailand as an external auditor, providing assurance services to clients mainly in automotive and manufacturing industries.

Ankesh has worked both as an electronics and software engineer in Tata Consultancy Services in India, and then founded his own company which creates houses, with the help of recycled plastic, for low-income communities in India.

Nabil has 5 years’ experience in Lean Six Sigma project management at AirAsia, the world’s best low cost airline. He managed the Continuous Improvement Program for the airline and was also a change management coach for his project teams.

Mark is currently completing the research element of his Scholarship Placement on the Bath MBA. This includes his group project for J4 projects as well as research into how and why Quality Management Systems should work. Building in this research Mark will be returning to Hydrock in September to head up the transformation of their Quality Management System.

We are delighted they bring such a wealth of knowledge and experience from different sectors and backgrounds, as well as having some sound appreciation of the many layers involved in the construction industry – some having evolved (with the advent of digital design) and others remaining relatively similar throughout the years – it’s still a people business and the human touch is extremely important.

But what’s the project they’ve been set to turn their bright minds on….?
